The deal is the most highly-priced in the metropolis so a long way this year

Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan have offered one of their San Francisco homes for $31 million in an off-market deal, a spokesperson for the household confirmed.

The deal marks the most luxurious sale in San Francisco so far this year, according to Zillow. Built in 1928, the 7,386-square-foot domestic has 4 bedrooms and 4 lavatories and is on the side of the

Mission District and Dolores Heights neighborhoods of the city. The sale closed on July 1, however, records of the transaction have simply become publicly available.

The Facebook-cum-Meta co-founder, 38, and his wife, 37, bought the home in 2012 for just below $10 million via a California-based restricted legal responsibility company, SFRP, in accordance to records with

PropertyShark. A grant deed between the vendor and the purchaser was signed on SFRP’s behalf via Na’eem Salaam, the vice president of operations of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.

Although a consultant for the corporation validated the deal, Mr. Zuckerberg and Ms. Chen were no longer on hand for comment.

The purchaser was once a constrained legal responsibility organization based in Delaware, PropertyShark documents show.

Mansion Global was once unable to discover the purchaser further, but Michael M. Gordon, a director at the law company of Gordon, Fournaris, and Mammarella in Wilmington, was listed as the contact for the LLC.

He did not straight away return a request for comment.
