Member Secretary of Gana Odhikar Parishad Nurul Haque said, Bangladesh is now a living corpse. This living corpse must be treated and made good. He said these things at a protest meeting organized by Jubo Odhikar Parishad in front of the National Press Club of the capital on Tuesday.
A symbolic body march and protest meeting was organized to protest the killing of Natore district convener of the People's Rights Council, Nurshad Praman. Yesterday, on Monday, Nurul Haque talked about the incident of the death of five people riding in a private car when the girder of the BRT project fell in the capital's Uttara and six people died in the fire in Chawkbazar. He said that the government is playing hypocrisy in the name of the inquiry committee. They have imposed misrule on the nation for the last 13 years. After the accident at FR towers in Nimtoli, Churidhatta, Banani, the government said a lot but nothing was done.
Nurul Haque said that Jubo League workers killed Nurshad for protesting against gambling. Awami League attacked there to protest this murder. Anarchy is going on all over the country. People's right to speak is being taken away. Nurul Haque expressed his anger about the lack of presence of journalists in the press gathering of this protest meeting of Youth Rights Council.
